Downtown Block Becomes Ranch Brand in Chetek

The meat shop at 210 Knapp Street in Chetek has been open since May 2020. In July 2024 it became Ranch Brand Meat Company, our first store under the new name.

If you shopped here as Antczak Angus, nothing about the beef changed. It still comes from the same ranches and the same plant in Almena. What changed is that two families put one name on it, and that name now covers every step from pasture to counter.

Chetek is where this started. Six steers in 2012, beef for family and friends, then a few restaurants, then a shop when the freezers ran out of room. We call this location Downtown Block, and it's still the home store.
